What counts as a "contact" for billing purposes?
A contact is any person whose profile is stored in eBrigade — staff, volunteers, contractors, or candidates. Inactive profiles, administrators, and read-only observers do not count towards your tier. If your contact count grows beyond your current tier, you simply move up to the next plan; your data and settings are unaffected.
Can we activate only the modules we need?
Yes. All 39 core modules are available on every plan, but you choose which ones to enable. There are also 25+ optional add-on modules — each can be activated with a one-month free trial so you can test before committing. You will never pay for functionality you don't use.
How long does it take to get up and running?
Most organisations are operational within a week. Your existing data (spreadsheets, CSV exports from other tools) is imported by our team within 72 hours. We then run a 30-day parallel period so you can validate everything before switching over completely.
What happens if we decide eBrigade isn't right for us?
You can export all your data at any time in standard formats. There is no minimum contract length on monthly billing, and no penalty for leaving. If you cancel during the 30-day trial, you are charged nothing. We prefer to earn your business every month rather than trap you in a long-term contract.
