Six deep overhauls

Six parts of the product were rebuilt — not improved. They are detailed here, and the full inventory follows right after.

Mobility

The mobile app, rebuilt from scratch

v6 displayed web pages inside a shell. Nova is a genuine native iOS and Android application, talking to a dedicated API instead of mirroring the website. It is not the same app improved: it is a different app.

  • Google sign-in, and biometric login with Touch ID / Face ID
  • Multi-item scanning for inventory, ticket scanning at the door
  • Native notifications: sender shown, answers locked once given
  • Sign-ups, availability and direct debits happen in the app, not on a web page

Documents

The document library, Drive-style

The Documents module was rebuilt end to end: navigation without page reloads, drag-and-drop from the desktop, context menu, instant preview. It also does what no file explorer does — check that every person has uploaded the paperwork expected of them.

  • Drive-style grid: coloured folders, preview, sharing, right-click, drag-and-drop
  • Required documents per person, with drop zones and compliance tracking
  • Filtering by skill, on top of access rights
  • Folder volumetrics, and a read-only audit to find where files actually are

Operational core

People, activities, duties and scheduling

The least spectacular part, and by far the heaviest: the screens your teams open every day were reworked one by one. On their own, these four areas weigh more than the rest of the release put together.

  • Redesigned scheduling, plus a Timeline view alongside List and Calendar
  • Unified period picker across activities, roles split by day and night shift
  • Attendee list that groups itself, reinforcement equipment always visible
  • Statistics tab in cards, reworked print layout, opt-in publication and cancellation alerts

SITAC and real-time availability

The tactical picture is drawn on a map that refreshes on its own, without ever reloading the page. And live availability, once a separate module, is now part of the core: everyone has it.

Rescue

The victim assessment form, rebuilt end to end

The assessment is filled in at the victim's side, often on a tablet, sometimes under pressure. It was reworked screen by screen — and above all it is no longer coded: every section, every question, every value is set from the configuration screens.

Chat & AI

Conversation and AI move into the core

Chat leaves the add-on store and becomes native: there is no longer a module to buy for your teams to talk to each other. As for AI, it is not decoration — it reads receipts, checks duty constraints and assists the administrator.
