eBrigade Intervention module
From the alert on the SITAC map to the PDF report, with no re-entry
Dispatch an intervention in seconds from the map, commit your teams, track statuses live and close with an automatically generated PDF report. The SITAC map refreshes on its own: the coordinator sees each marker change from “in progress” to “completed” without a single radio call, and the activity report builds up as you go.
These buttons are about the full eBrigade subscription: this module is included at no extra cost in every plan.
Launch, follow live on the SITAC tactical map and close your interventions with a PDF report, all without re-entering anything.
What is eBrigade’s Intervention module?
Dispatch, track live on the SITAC (tactical situation) map and close your interventions with a PDF report, all with no re-entry of data. It is included at no extra cost in every eBrigade plan.
Why use the Intervention module?
During a deployment, requests come in by radio, by phone or in person. They are written down on paper, sometimes lost, often incomplete. Nobody knows in real time which team is committed where, or whether it has arrived on scene. At the end, the head of service spends hours piecing together the timeline to write the report — when the times have not already been forgotten.
What the Intervention module changes
Each intervention is created in seconds: type, address, dispatch time, committed teams and person in charge. The status changes in real time — in progress, completed, cancelled — and the SITAC map updates automatically for all operators. Responders can be alerted by email, SMS and mobile notification as soon as the intervention is entered, and navigate to the location in one tap via Waze. At closure, the PDF report is generated in one click from the data already entered. The whole cycle is time-stamped and traced, without a break.
What you can do with Intervention
Locate the intervention directly on the SITAC map (Google Maps) and open its record from the geographic point. A list view and a free GPS search (current position or entered coordinates) complement the map.
The map refreshes automatically, and the status of each intervention (in progress, completed, cancelled) as well as that of the committed teams is visible live to all operators, without radio coordination.
As soon as the intervention is entered, notify responders by email, by SMS (if enabled and depending on your credits) and by mobile notification (with the Notification module). From the alert, the responder launches Waze navigation to the location in one tap.
Link the mobilised teams to each intervention and appoint a person in charge from among the people signed up to the activity. This data feeds the final report and the operational activity statistics.
Generate an intervention’s PDF report in one click. Each stage — dispatch, arrival time, end, status changes, cancellation, reactivation — is time-stamped and kept in the history for full traceability.
Define your own statuses (with colours), categories and coded intervention types. Each type shows how many times it has been used, and you choose which activity types are eligible for the intervention map.
Step by step
Open the relevant activity and create the intervention by placing the location on the SITAC map, or by entering an address or GPS coordinates. Choose the type and start time, and mark it as urgent if needed.
Select the committed teams and the person in charge. Tick the alert channels — email, SMS (if you have credits) and mobile notification (with the Notification module) — to notify responders, who can launch Waze navigation in one tap.
The map refreshes automatically: each marker reflects the current status (in progress, completed, cancelled) and the teams’ status. All operators see the same situation, without a radio call.
Enter the arrival and end times, add the casualties cared for if necessary, then complete the intervention. The PDF report is generated in one click and the time-stamped history remains available.
Where this module really pays off
Fire and rescue services (SDIS) & firefighters: real-time dispatch and tracking of interventions on the SITAC map, with committed teams, person in charge, customisable statuses and a PDF report per intervention.
First-aid cover (DPS) & event security: management of rescue actions during the deployment, with intervention types coded by category and casualty records attached in GDPR mode.
Civil protection & crisis units: dispatch and map-based tracking of multi-team interventions from a list view, map or free GPS search.
First-aid associations: situation report to selected recipients (members, roles, permissions) by email, SMS or mobile notification, with author and history kept.
Event organisers: overview of activities in progress with the number of interventions, teams and casualties per deployment, filterable by section and period.
Frequently asked questions
Do operators see interventions in real time?
Yes. The SITAC map refreshes automatically (adjustable interval). Each intervention appears with a marker whose colour reflects its status (in progress, completed, cancelled), and teams can filter by section and period.
Can you handle several types of intervention on the same deployment?
Yes. Each intervention is typed using a code the organisation can configure (casualty care, feeling unwell, fall, etc.). Types are grouped into categories, each shows how many times it has been used, and team statuses can also be customised with their own colours.
How are responders notified?
When entering the intervention, you choose the channels: email, SMS and mobile notification. SMS requires the SMS option to be enabled and credits to be available; mobile notification requires the Notification module. From the alert received, the responder can launch Waze navigation to the location.
Does the module handle casualties cared for?
Yes, when the activity type provides for it. You quickly add a casualty (number, sex, age, transport, destination, arrival time) from the intervention, or via the full editor. A GDPR confidential-data mode limits recording to the initial of the surname on non-accredited hosting.
How does this module integrate with the Casualties and Mapping modules?
An intervention can be linked to casualties recorded in the Casualties module, is positioned on the SITAC map and displays its committed teams. The intervention report includes the associated data.
Do you have to be event leader to enter an intervention?
No. Rights are fine-grained: event leader, command post (PC) operator, section management permission, or assigned roles carrying the rights to add/edit interventions or reports. Every action is traced with its author and time stamp.
