eBrigade Employment contract module
Build your job descriptions with tailor-made fields
The Employment contract module is a job description builder. You build each template with custom fields organised in groups, and link it to the contracts of your organisation’s members.
These buttons are about the full eBrigade subscription: this module is included at no extra cost in every plan.
Builder for configurable job descriptions: six field types (text, number, checkbox, drop-down list, date, time), arranged in ordered groups and attachable to staff contracts. Library of 35 ready-to-load job templates, sorted into eight families.
What is the eBrigade Employment contract module?
A configurable job description builder: six field types (text, number, checkbox, drop-down list, date, time), arranged in ordered groups and linkable to staff contracts. A library of 35 ready-to-load job templates, sorted into eight families. It is included at no extra cost in every eBrigade plan.
Why use Employment contract?
Employer organisations describe their roles in informal documents — one Word file per role, job titles that vary from one department to another, no common structure. It is impossible to compare two descriptions or to link a job description to a member’s contract. Every new role starts from a blank page, with no reusable framework.
What Employment contract changes in eBrigade
The module provides a job description builder. You create as many templates as you have roles, each made up of custom fields of six types: free text, number, checkbox, drop-down list, date and time (HH:mm). Fields are arranged in named, reorderable groups, and drop-down lists have their own options that can be managed one by one. Each description can be linked to staff contracts and disabled without being deleted. A library of 35 job templates lets you start from a ready-built description rather than a blank page: management, administration, sales, technical, rescue, health, logistics and association life. Loading a template creates an independent, fully editable description and never replaces anything you have already entered.
What you can do with Employment contract
Build each description with fields of six types: free text, number, checkbox, drop-down list, date and time (HH:mm). You describe each role precisely, with no format constraints.
Arrange fields in named, reorderable groups within each description. The structure stays readable, even for roles described by a lot of information.
For each drop-down list field, manage the options offered: add, edit, reorder and delete them individually. You enforce a common vocabulary across all descriptions.
Create as many job descriptions as there are roles in your organisation. Each template is independent and reusable from one role to another.
Enable or disable each job description without deleting it. You keep obsolete templates or those in preparation without them showing as active.
Link a job description to a member’s contract. Deleting a description automatically detaches it from contracts and erases its groups, fields and options, leaving no orphaned data.
Step by step
Give the description a title and a comment, then enable it. You can create as many descriptions as there are roles and disable the ones no longer in use without deleting them.
Add named, reorderable groups, then distribute your fields among them. Each field has one of the six types: free text, number, checkbox, drop-down list, date or time (HH:mm).
For a drop-down list field, add, edit, reorder and delete each option offered, to enforce a common vocabulary across all descriptions.
Associate a job description with a staff member’s contract. Deleting a description automatically detaches it from the contracts concerned and removes its groups, fields and options.
Where this module really pays off
Employer associations: structure each role with custom fields (text, lists, dates) grouped by theme, reusable from one role to another.
Patient transport & ambulance services: describe driver and nurse roles with tailor-made fields and link each description to the relevant member’s contract.
Private security: create a job description per role with its groups of fields, and disable obsolete templates without deleting them.
Multi-organisation set-ups: maintain a catalogue of configurable job descriptions, each linked to the corresponding staff contracts.
Quick start: load one of the 35 supplied job templates — care assistant, security officer, activity leader, administrative assistant… — and adapt it to your organisation.
Frequently asked questions
What types of field can a job description contain?
Six types are available: free text, number, checkbox, drop-down list, date and time (HH:mm). Each field sits in a named, reorderable group within the description.
Can we create several job description templates for different roles?
Yes. You create as many job descriptions as you need, each with its own groups and fields. Each description can then be linked to a staff member’s contract.
How do drop-down list fields work?
For a drop-down list field, you manage the options offered yourself: add, edit, reorder and delete each value. This lets you enforce a common vocabulary across all descriptions.
Can a description be disabled without deleting it?
Yes. Each job description has an active/inactive status. This way you keep obsolete templates or those in preparation without them being used.
What happens when a job description is deleted?
The description is automatically detached from the staff contracts it was linked to, and its groups, fields and list options are deleted at the same time. No orphaned data is left behind.
Are there ready-to-use job descriptions?
Yes. A library of 35 job templates is supplied with the module, sorted into eight families: management and supervision, administration and finance, sales and communication, technical and IT, rescue and security, health and social care, logistics and field work, activities and association life. Each template comes complete — groups, fields, option lists and checkboxes — and remains fully editable once created.
Does loading a template overwrite my existing descriptions?
No. A template always creates an independent description. Your descriptions and customisations are not touched, and loading the same template twice creates two separate descriptions rather than changing one.
