Ebrigade, a web application that has become essential for optimal organization of staff and activities.
EBrigade is a tool that makes life easier , but for whom?
The SDIS (departmental fire and rescue service) is responsible for risk analysis and the implementation of emergency resources. It organises the activity of all the volunteer firefighter centres (SPV) and professional firefighters (SPP) and rescue centres in the department. Its operational centre (CODIS) keeps watch 24 hours a day and coordinates the various interventions.
The CS of the fire brigade of France can carry out several missions simultaneously. For example, they can leave for an intervention for a firefighting mission and at the same time for an intervention for a civil security mission.
Being able to retrieve information from the right place is therefore a major challenge for an SDIS. That’s why our tool allows you to centralize all the information and allows the right people to retrieve what they need in real time.
Geolocation and real-time visibility
Activity Management
Thanks to its calendar of activities, eBrigade allows you to manage activities such as training (initial or continuing training), ceremonies or meetings of all SDIS rescue centres on a single interface. Thanks to the multi-site function, the SDIS (departmental fire and rescue services) have control over all the rescue centres, they can see and if necessary organise the activities of the centres in their department. EBrigade also allows the SDIS to request reinforcements from different rescue centres.
Logistics

The eBrigade interface provides a real-time view of everything related to logistics (equipment, vehicle, consumables). Each rescue centre manages its stock and the SDIS has a global view of everyone’s stocks. It is possible to manage these stocks directly via the application and see if the equipment is operational.
Geolocation
A map feature will give you several indications of an activity in progress. You will see on the SITAC map the location of the activity, the staff on site (you will have the name of each member) as well as the vehicles involved in the intervention. You will also be able to see the vehicles or teams present near the activity, whether they are available or not. The resources and personnel visible on the map may come from a fire station other than the one involved in the intervention.
Manual positioning
You will have the possibility to move the vehicles or teams appearing on the map as you wish to position them on the activity of your choice. This geolocation feature makes it possible to hire resources or personnel on site much more quickly and efficiently.
You will have a real-time follow-up of what is happening on the activity.

Centralization of information
Centralization
The eBrigade application centralises the data of all the rescue centres of professional and volunteer firefighters. This centralization is used to store and find all the information you are looking for in a few clicks. For example, you can keep all the important documents of the staff of your rescue centres such as their driving licences, their medical certificates of fitness, FDF1 or other skills.
Information
You will have access to all the personnel information gathered on a personal file (address, contact, grade, assignment, etc.). You will also be able to access all the skills, training, but also absences of each member of staff via summary tables. For example, you will know the end of a person’s skills. It is very important to have this type of information because becoming a firefighter means providing emergency assistance and being competent, for this you must regularly train in first aid gestures. The young firefighters train on concrete cases and must have good physical fitness conditions.
Staff Contact
With eBrigade you will be able to contact the staff of your rescue centers faster. Indeed, by choosing the rescue center to be notified, and by qualifying the message as an emergency, you will trigger an alert system : the staff receives an alert in the form of a message in the event of an emergency.

Efficiency at the organizational level
Personnel Management
EBrigade allows you to manage all the staff of the various rescue centers, whatever they are. The schedules and schedules of the rescue centre staff are accessible in a few clicks. You can have access to the daily availability of the staff of each rescue center, whether it is a volunteer firefighter or a professional firefighter (we will rather talk about working day). Indeed, the SPVs are present on a voluntary basis during their free time, whereas the SPPs are agents of the local civil service.
Organization
This centralization of the various information allows the various rescue centers to organize themselves efficiently. Indeed, usually, the head of the center creates a roster every day, which takes a lot of time.

On-call roster
Ebrigade makes it easy to create on-call rosters over time , so you can create several on-call rosters for the week or for the month for your rescue centers! Thanks to the data entered in the interface, there is no need to search for schedules to find who is available and manage the distribution of on-call duty for all rescue centres: this is done automatically !

Grade

Similarly, you will be able to assign SPs to activities according to the rank and hierarchical level they have. Indeed, next to the name of the firefighter you will see a pictogram revealing whether the firefighter is a colonel, a warrant officer or a corporal.

- What do you like most about eBrigade? What for?
The ergonomics of the software are well thought out, neophyte users adapt very quickly to this tool. In addition, it is a communication tool and we have been able to link it to other tools used by our organization.
- Approximately how much time do you save per day since using Brigade?
The time for the constitution of provisional schedules has been divided by at least two.
- What has eBrigade brought you since its use?
eBrigade has brought us an undeniable time saving but also the centralization of data on the same tool, availability, planning, event programming, reporting, etc. We have been able to do away with paper in many barracks.
- Name 3 situations where eBrigade has been indispensable to you
For the realization of a provisional schedule in a multi-site center in summer, 21 men for the day guard, 10 men for the guard on the island, 3 men for the guard of the outpost. That same morning, the pelicandroma to be armed and three additional machines for the GIFF. Without eBrigade, it would have been difficult to find in less than two hours.
Setting up a flood group during an event during an exceptional weather event? eBrigade helped us quickly find the resource with the right value units.
