EBrigade is a tool that makes life easier, but for whom?
The FASC (Approved Civil Security Federation) are associations of first aiders recognized as a public unit. The FASC are groups of approved civil security associations (AASC). They have received a national civil security approval issued by order of the Ministry of the Interior for the following types of missions:
- Rescue operations.
- Support and accompaniment actions for populations that are victims of accidents, disasters or disasters.
- Supervision of volunteers as part of actions to support the population.
The FASC brings together many structures that can be grouped into three categories:
- The Departmental Civil Protection Associations (ADPC)
- Associated national groups: Associations with a particular mission but whose action extends to the whole territory.
- Associated local groups: These are local associations, whose purpose may be specific or much more general

First aid federations bring together and take care of several AASCs. The goal for them is to use a tool that allows them to manage everything on the same interface. EBrigade meets this demand, which is what makes our application interesting. The federation can decide on the autonomy of its associations: they can be autonomous, semi-autonomous or not autonomous at all depending on the authorizations given.
Activity Management
For example, eBrigade allows you to manage activities such as training, on-call hours, aid to the population, cooperation actions between the state, the SDIS, and the SAMU and the collection of all the federation’s branches on a single interface. The staff of the various branches can be directly informed of the presence of one of their activities and learn about it directly via the application.

Setup
A big advantage of eBrigade is that you can configure everything , whether it is the functions related to personnel, activities, logistics, the modules that will appear on the product… The federation will thus be able to control all the associations and make the right tools available for good management and good organization.
Hierarchy
With eBrigade, you can prioritize, organize, give the right permissions to the right people and departments to be able to do the right thing and know everyone’s role in the organization. Indeed, you will be able to manage the access rights for each user of your application. It is a question of defining what each person who connects will be allowed to do, or not, to which features they will have access. Each access right brings together a certain number of permissions. To date, 77 different permissions exist (possibility to manage equipment, to see personnel files, etc.)

Organization
Thanks to the multi-site function, the FASC have control over all the emergency antennas, they can see and if necessary organize the activities of the antennas at the national level. You can also manage staff (leave, replacements, absences, documentation, etc.), logistics (vehicle, consumables and equipment).
Overview
As far as the equipment is concerned, you can manage all the things available in the antennas such as:
- Personal protective equipment (including the various accessory intervention outfits),
- Intervention materials (water extinguishers, lances, motor pumps or breathing apparatus).
- Training materials (manikins, AEDs, binders)
- Social action materials (sleeping bags, blankets)
EBrigade also allows FASCs to request reinforcements between the different branches.
Education
Type of training
First aid associations train their members but they can also train the general public in first aid (PSC1, PSE) as the French Red Cross can do for example. The federations will thus have visibility on all the types of training that the various first aid associations can offer, for example the first aid training at work (SST).
Interest of the training
First aid training and learning first aid gestures allow, for example, to save a person in cardiac arrest, by applying emergency gestures (cardiac massage) and knowing how to use a defibrillator, it also makes it possible to take care of an unconscious person. Having the right reflexes and applying the right gestures can save the lives of victims. You will learn how to react to discomfort, haemorrhages, trauma, obstruction (suffocation), burns, etc.
The trainers will teach you life-saving gestures while waiting for help to arrive (professional or volunteer firefighters).
